For the third straight night, law enforcement in Ireland encountered a barrage of stones and fireworks in Dublin.

A large crowd of demonstrators assembled close to the gate of a hotel housing individuals seeking refuge in a western area of the metropolis.

This represents the third evening of demonstrations at the location following a reported incident involving a young girl in the vicinity of the hotel in the early hours on Monday.

A 26-year-old, who cannot be disclosed due to legal restrictions in sexual assault proceedings, was presented in the judicial system on the following day charged in relation to the alleged event.

Multiple detentions were made during the serious disorder on that evening, and the Irish police service pledged a “firm reaction” if the hostilities continued.

Between 7pm and 8pm on the next day, hundreds of participants once more confronted approximately forty police in uniform.

The first personnel were replaced by the specialized squad equipped with protective gear and additional armor after sustaining hits from various thrown objects.

A number of protesters persisted to hurl assorted items at the officers on site.

Vandalism also occurred around the nearby transit station, which runs parallel to the road occupied by the crowd.

Specialized officers advanced the assembly away from the premises by moving forward with their shields.

A mounted unit and a dog unit were deployed at the location, with a police helicopter providing aerial assistance.

One member was affected by an irritant, and those participating in the chaos also attempted to obstruct law enforcement cars using steel barriers.

While Monday night’s demonstration ended without major incident, a female officer was injured during the subsequent violence and later released from hospital after treatment for a foot injury.

A law enforcement car was also ignited during the earlier unrest in the week.

The senior officer, who inspected the area after the violence, commented on Wednesday that he was “determined” to see additional individuals face legal proceedings to answer for their conduct.

He described the situation as far from calm and noted, “This was aggression with the purpose to damage the structure and intimidate those inside.”

The head of government condemned the scenes of hostility, stating there could be “no excuse” for attacks on police personnel.

Those gathered were seen waving symbols, chanting opposition slogans, and launching missiles.

There were also efforts to advance on the police line using horse-drawn carts and scrambler bikes on Tuesday, and a aircraft overhead was targeted with lasers.
