Substantial Hailstones and Widespread Destruction

Humid circumstances were forecast to persist along much of Queensland's east this week as a atmospheric system continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was expected to become the most rainy day, with continued storm activity expected across multiple regions of both states.

Health Warning

Medical authorities cautioned that there was an increased chance of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the northern rural areas, especially given the existing atmospheric conditions.
